Our Activities

“Fruit For Love” is a virtual tree planting charity event. The core message that we wish to bring out is to ignite and connect love with fruit. In this event, we cooperated with Japanese fruit merchant Wismettac and Frutodor - local online fruit store, donated 40 boxes of SUGOI APPLE Japanese Aomori apples to the beneficiaries. 

“Fruitful Sharing” is the first activity organised by Frutus. We cooperated with different charities and recruited student volunteers to help organise and distribute fruits to different centres to share with beneficiaries. 

It is a brand new activity that created by us under the pandemic. It named ”Fruit For Empathy” which means we use fruits to ignite and connect empathy with society. We made cards to beneficiaries by collecting students' paintings & photographs. Additionally, we will post the thank you messages wrote by beneficiaries who received our cards on the social platform. 

“Fruit For Appreciation” means we use fruits to ignite and connect the hearts of gratitude. Students and beneficiaries can exchange fruit knowledge via their self made videos. We have collected more than 100 students' self-made videos, contents can be classified into exercise & performance related, mini games and paper crafts related. All contents will be fruit related. Our volunteer teams will then play these videos to beneficiaries to watch and follow during the event. 

“Fruit For Zooming” we use fruit elements and visual methods to ignite and connect empathy. Student volunteers played fruit games and communicated with beneficiaries at Elderly Centre. After online sharing & gaming section, all student volunteers will deliver the fruit bags to the front gates at Elderly Center and related staffs will collect & hand fruit bags to the beneficiaries & Elderly accordingly.
